(Dis)Appear is a short fiction film exploring disappearance, memory, and emancipation — a contemporary reimagining of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice in the age of artificial intelligence.
Léna lives in seclusion in a brutalist complex surrounded by water. One day, a male voice breaks the silence — the first she has heard in a long time. She agrees to speak and recounts what led her there: her meeting with Théo, a consuming love, the accident, the rupture. As the dialogue unfolds, a difficult yet liberating truth emerges — one that may finally give meaning to her isolation.
